Existing Reservations

All change requests are subject to the hotel availability and are not guaranteed until confirmed by the hotel. You may check the status of your change request by signing into the Microsoft Management Summit 2007 website and viewing your hotel details.

Beginning March 20, 2007, changes and cancellations to existing hotel reservations must be made directly with your hotel. All updates and cancellations must be made no later than 72 hours prior to your arrival. Failure to do will result in a charge to your credit card of one night room and tax (10.5% tax).

Please note: You will not be able to change or cancel your existing hotel reservation directly with the hotel until March 20, 2007.

All room reservations must be requested by March 1 through the registration website, as the hotels are unable to book within the special room blocks by contacting them directly. If you require room reservations outside of the conference dates or if requesting room reservations after March 1, space and the special rate will be based upon availability. Attendees are responsible for paying all room, tax and incidentals charges accrued upon check out.

Registration Package Attendees
The official event nights are March 26 through March 30, 2007. Your registration package includes accommodations at the San Diego Marriott Hotel & Marina for arrival on March 26 with a departure on March 30, 2007 (Four Nights Only); all additional nights and all incidental charges during your entire stay are the responsibility of the attendee to pay upon checkout.

HOTEL CANCELLATION POLICY

• The Credit Card listed above guarantees your reservation for your requested arrival date and will not be charged except in the cases outlined below.
• A valid form of payment must be provided to the hotel at the time of check-in. Cancellations made less than 72 hours prior to check-in will result in a charge of one night’s stay, plus tax, to your credit card.
• Failure to appear on the expected date of arrival will result in a charge of one night’s stay, plus tax, to your credit card, in addition to the cancellation of your reservation for the remainder of the stay.
• Registration/Hotel Package: Cancellation of the package occurring between March 13th and 72 hours before your scheduled arrival date will result in a refund of the pre-paid four (4) nights' room and tax included in your registration package. Cancellation of the registration package within 72 hours or failure to appear on your expected arrival date will result in a refund of three (3) nights’ hotel room and tax only, in addition to the cancellation of your reservation for the remainder of your stay.
• Discounts or partial refunds will not be issued to registration/hotel package attendees staying less than four (4) nights, including unplanned early checkouts.
